Zürich, October
13, 2004 - PRISM has announced
today the launch of a new educational program called Improving Business
Performance. This program, which has been designed in association with
the University of Strathclyde Business School, focuses on Stakeholder
Relationship Management and its crucial role in improving business performance.
“Developments in business thinking and practices are consistently
highlighting the fundamental importance of key stakeholder entities
for the success of any business. Towards the end of the 20-th century
corporations ‘re-discovered’ the Customer as an asset and
source of value. As CRM becomes mainstream, attention is turning to other
entities like Employees, Suppliers, Shareholders – all of whom play
key roles in the value chain. Relationship management is emerging as a
priority among executive skills and, together with Strathclyde Business
School, we are trying to address this need. ” said Vladimir
Dimitroff, Director of PRISM Consulting in the UK.
“Gaining a clear understanding of what enables you to gain competitive
advantage is key to good relationship management. This programme is designed
to make this understanding give practical results.” said Colin
Eden, Professor of Strategic Management and Management Science
at the University of Strathclyde Business School in Glasgow Scotland
"Improving the business performance is difficult yet imperative
if you want to grow your business. Sound management fundamentals, an innovative
methodology and following best practice build the basis to achieve this
goal. We are excited to team up with The University of Strathclyde Business
School to combine our Stakeholder Relationship Management expertise with
Strathclyde's excellence in management education. This will enable us
to jointly develop value propositions in higher education based on theory
and practical experience." according to Pascal Strnad,
CEO of PRISM Consulting in Switzerland.
“We are very pleased to form this association with Colin Eden
of The University of Strathclyde Business School, which is one of the
UK’s leading Business School and one which also, like PRISM, is
operating on an international basis.” said Martin Ratcliffe,
MD of PRISM Consulting in the UK.
The program will be launched in Switzerland later this year with plans
for roll out into Budapest, Prague, London and Moscow early in the new
year.
